Ep111 BullPunchers End of Year Collabo 2014 ** FULL **

** NOTE ** This is the full episode 111, with improved audio and not split in twain.  We felt it deserved a touch-up.  Sorry for the lower quality previously.

It happened a SECOND time. The devilishly handsome Bullshot! Podcast squad roll with the GamePunchers once again - this time to enunciate with great self-importance their chosen  games of the year 2014.

The voices you shall hear within are:

  • Jim Plachy AKA Plachy
  • Brendan Saricks AKA TheJesusFish AKA Fish
  • Steve Pendlebury
  • Jon Lavallee
  • Fraser Moores

Absent: Dave AKA Dave :(

A million thanks once again to the wonderfully talented (and extremely generous) Kathryn Haywood.

Ep107: Leave the Hinterlands!

The curler can induce a curved path by causing the stone to slowly turn as it slides, and the path of the rock may be further influenced by two sweepers with brooms who accompany it as it slides down the sheet, using the brooms to alter the state of the ice in front of the stone. A great deal of strategy and teamwork go into choosing the ideal path and placement of a stone for each situation, and the skills of the curlers determine how close to the desired result the stone will achieve. This gives curling its nickname of "chess on ice".

Games Discussed this week include:

SP - Destiny, Assassin’s Creed: Unity
JL - Destiny, Tales from the Borderlands ep1, PvZ: Garden Warfare, Peggle 2

Ep105: Bionic Chambo

This week we named the episode after him, yet Steve was nowhere to be seen, except in the live chat.. which was odd.  Jon and Fraser rope-a-doped our old friend Gary from Lousy at Gaming to chew up some valuable air wave space and subjected him to discussions about PlayStation's 20th birthday, a new ZX spectrum, some charts and a quiz just for him.

We did cover games and they were Destiny, LOTR Mordor, The Evil Within, South Park TSOT among others.

Fraser's sassmouth kicks off events this week, followed by some aggravated-ballyhoo about HD re-releases (yes, again). Jon makes us all shout 'WIZARD!' again... and we revisit this very often.

Episode 100!

No crazy title here, just the fact that it is episode 100 is enough.  We tried somthing very new and broadcast live on Mixlr.com/gamepuncherscom   Take a note of that, because it may be useful.  We had a great gaggle of people listening and in the chat, and even got a return visit from Wyatt!

So settle in and hear how it went down LIVE.  (Spoiler.. it had its moments).

We did talk about Destiny, Sunset Overdrive and Smash Bros. We had charts, and we had a quiz.

Thanks for everything listeners.

Ep99.5 Filler Up

We're really not doing very well coordinating all three of us, so here's a bone to keep you going.

Steve has played more Destiny, and Fraser is pounding away at Darksiders 2, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Killzone 3.

Somehow we shoehorn in the charts and some news, but don't expect much else...  :0/

Ep99: Put The What on the What?

Jon's turn to be MIA.  Steve and Fraser forge ahead pretending to have a scooby... and somehow they get a show out of it.

We're hijacked at the start of the show by a right piece of work.  Details on the very worthy Extra-Life here .

Game of the week is Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, but we also cover Rust, Destiny and Fantasia.

Ep96: Destiny Eve

Fraser is gone. Jon is gone. Don't be alarmed, though, because superfan Wyatt May joins Steve to talk about Destiny a lot, and other such things of gaming flavor.

Now, full disclosure before continuing, We had a couple of sound issues crop up during the recording of this week's episode... namely some sweet church-style echoing on the voices, and a little blip that lost the last 15 minutes or so of the show. We do work around it like pros, but just be aware that it's in there.

Games discussed this week include:

SP - Last of Us: Multiplayer, Minecraft PS4, Super Mario 3D World
Wyatt May - infamous first light, plants vs zombies, last of us remastered, sports and friends, mario kart 8

The Nephalem Triumvirate returns after a week and a half of stewing in real life things. Steve has the voice of an angel now, thanks to his throat replacement surgery, Fraser completely fucks up the quiz, and John pretends he did't shout at someone for not taking out the trash while recording. It's all here, folks. Whatever it is, it's all here.
