Ep44: Zip Dicky From Pumpernickle Studios

REJOICE! Fraser is now in the permanent 3rd chair on the GamePunchers Podcast. SOLIDARITY!

Quakecon! Global software and hardware sales! Steam cards! And many other things that I can't remember we talked about. I remember Borderlands 2, World of Tanks, Magic the Gathering and The Wicher 2 are in there somewhere, for reals.

In case you were wondering, the intro is called "Breakthrough" by Ben Landis, and can be found on the Chiptunes = Win album, along with many others that we use for the low background stuff. The outro music is called "Hexapod" by the incredible BLAZAR.

Oh, also this week we used the track "At The Sign Of The Swinging Cymbal" by the John Anderson Big Band for the NPD Top 10's

Ep40: Star Wars Machete Order

First off, apologies for the background hum noise on this episode... must be magnets or the government. Anyway, we somehow manage to cram about 300 different topics into just over an hour's worth of podcast -- Shriners, Water Country USA, the optimum sequence to watch the Star Wars saga, Microsoft's PR battle, Don Mattrick's highly lucrative move to Zynga as its new CEO, and Sony's E3 pandering...  I've no idea how the show formed this way... it happened. It just happened... emergent podplay and all that.

Oh, here's the link to the alternate Star Wars viewing order Steve talks about this week: Star Wars Machete Order

This week we cover such marvelous games as Octodad, Walking Dead: 400 Days, Rust, Minecraft, The Last of Us, and Witcher 2

Some of the Jedi masters among you may have noticed that we've gone back to the original music, and so... much groceries to Darren Korb over at SuperGiant Games for granting us permission to use the whole Bastion Soundtrack for the musical accompaniment. You are the wind beneath our hotwings.

You can buy the album here.

Anyway, we hope you enjoy this. Also, if you have the time, leave us a comment and let us know you're listening.

Cheers!
